This one day workshop is for painters working in either oil or acrylic. All levels of painting experience are most welcome. Elizabeth Hutchinson will lead the workshop and demonstrate techniques for a quick and easy start on the canvas, (drawing directly with paint), followed by a step by step painting process. Jordan Mowat – Drummer Westben Festival Chorus Westben Youth & Teen Choruses Donna Bennett & Brian Finley – Directors Christmas starts with Westben! Ojibwe drummer from Alderville, Jordan Mowat joins the Westben Festival Chorus and Westben Youth & Teen Choruses in an original narrated concert about an orphan boy who finds his self-worth by marching to his own drum. Heart-warming and fit for the whole family, this 90-minute concert explores the meaning of Christmas through the noises and silences of the season..

Hues for Hospice

Hospice Quinte is holding a fundraising event showcasing local artists, wine and hors d’oeuvres. We are looking for local artists interested in participating to showcase their work. Artists will be provided a display table and area, and are welcome to sell their art. We welcome artists to attend in order to represent and discuss their art. There is no cost to participate however to assist Hospice Quinte in our fundraising activities we are requesting each artist donate one piece for a silent auction to be held during the event.

On December 16th at 4:30 PM, the Choirs of St. Thomas' Anglican Church, Belleville, will be presenting “Carols by Candlelight,” a Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols. The service will be presented in the traditional style of King's College, Cambridge. The congregation is also invited to join in singing some all-time favourites. A reception will follow.
