The Ontario Culture Strategy – report released

Today, Minister McMahon announced the release of The Ontario Culture Strategy: Telling our stories, growing our economy. It reflects the input of nearly 3,000 people, who came together last fall through Culture Talks, and who commented in April when we posted the core elements of the Culture Strategy online for feedback. The strategy sets out a vision, principles and four overarching goals that will guide the government’s support for culture over the next five years. These goals are to promote cultural engagement and inclusion, strengthen culture in communities, fuel the creative economy and promote the value of the arts throughout government.
