Mayor Mitch Panciuk, members of Council, along with Grant Committee Chair Councillor Carr and members of the Grant Committee are pleased to announce the public release of $50,000 for the 2019 Belleville Community Arts & Culture Fund (BCACF) to be guided and administered by the City of Belleville Grant Committee. The BCACF will allow our arts and culture community to request a maximum grant of $5,000 instead of the previous $2,500. The Fund will be broken into two categories: New Initiatives/Programs and Existing Programs/Services. Separate applications can be submitted in both categories.
Arts organizations, non-profits, and collectives are eligible to apply. For details and to apply, please read the BCACF Guidelines and Application on the City website. The deadline for applications is Monday, June 3, 2019, 3:30 p.m.
To assist community groups, organizations, artists, etc., in writing clear and concise grant applications, Mayor Mitch Panciuk, members of Council, Grant Committee Chair Councillor Carr, members of the grant committee and Janet Jarrell, Executive Director of the Quinte Arts Council, are pleased to announce the creation of two Arts and Culture Grant Writing Workshops.
