A Recipe For Faith, one-act play Oct. 27-29 at Eastminster

“A Recipe for Faith” is an entertaining one-act play written and directed by Linda Tipper, incorporating the original, faith-based  music of “Keep The Faith” (John Brannen, Kathleen Manderville & Roli Tipper), that is woven throughout the storyline.

On the surface Linda Tipper’s script is about chefs looking for the best soup recipe ever AND spies in search of a chemical weapon formula BUT what’s really going on here? Is it what the title might suggest? Come see for yourself to find out!

“A Recipe For Faith” will be performed on Thursday, Oct 27th, Friday, Oct 28th and Saturday, Oct 29th in the Sanctuary at Eastminster United with all proceeds being divided equally among the Syrian Refugee Sponsorship Committee, the Quinte Arts Council and Eastminster United Church’s general fund. Doors open at 6:30. Prelude begins at 6:45. Curtain is at 7:00.

The cast includes Moira Nikander-Forrester, Steve Forrester, Richard Herrington, Colin Leonard, Lise Lindenberg, and Al Zaback. Our emcee is Jeanette Arsenault.

After the show there will be a time of fellowship and refreshments in the Parlour beginning at approx. 8:25.

Tickets are $15 per adult, in advance or at the door; children and youth are admitted free.  For more information and/or to purchase tickets, please call the Eastminster United Church office (Mon to Fri – 9:00 to 4:00) at 613-969-5212.
