Arts Administration Program Coordinator

Duration: 24 months
Hourly Rate: $27.50
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Program Coordinator to join our team. The coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating programs for the Quinte Arts Council, including ongoing programming, special projects, collaborations, donor recognition, and other initiatives as required. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development and Evaluation:
Develop, implement, and evaluate programs for Quinte Arts Council, including ongoing programming, special projects, collaborations, donor recognition, and other initiatives as required.
Reporting and Materials Production:
Produce reports, sponsorship booklets, and donor solicitation materials as required.
Online and Social Media Presence:
Ensure a relevant online and social media presence.
Collaboration and Training:
Coordinate and schedule meetings, workshops, and training sessions with consultants and partners.
Develop and distribute training materials and resources.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all interest holders.
Monitor and report on the progress of training initiatives.
Community Consultations:
Plan and organize community consultation events.
Engage with community members to gather input and feedback.
Develop and implement strategies to encourage community participation.
Document and analyze feedback from consultations.
Project Management:
Assist in the development and implementation of project plans.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and presentations.
Ensure project activities are completed on time and within budget.
Communication and Reporting:
Maintain regular communication with project interest holders.
Prepare and present regular updates and reports to the project team and management.
Address any issues or concerns raised by interest holders promptly.
Qualifications:
Education: University Degree or College Diploma, or equivalent work experience in Project Management, Business/Arts Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with community engagement and consultation processes is an asset.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position.
Flexible working hours, with some evenings and weekends required for community consultations.
The position may require occasional travel to consultation sites.
