Quinte Society for Chamber Music presents the Madoc Quartet performing works by Grieg, Haydn and a world premiere of a work by Canadian composer Jacques Marchand at 3 live venues in the Madoc area. Join Maura Broadhurst, Arts Sector Development Officer for the Ontario Arts Council (OAC), on Wednesday September 30 at 2pm, to learn about the the OAC's new Arts Response InitiativeThis initiative was launched to support artists, arts groups and organizations as they navigate the negative impacts on their artistic practices and operations due to COVID-19. Grants are available for individuals, ad hoc groups, collectives, organizations, and organizational partnerships.
 
Maura will review the Ontario Arts Council's regular programs and outline the purposes of this new funding opportunity, as well as the priorities of the program, the kinds of activities it supports, how to make an application and tips on writing a strong application. There will also be time for questions and answers.
