Perry Poupore is a skilled potter with a great teaching ability having worked with students in art classes.
In his Belleville, Ontario studio Perry crafts ceramic flowers from clay slabs. Their metal stems can be planted directly in your garden. Perry also sculpts ceramic birds, frogs and turtles. He enjoys hand-building and throwing bowls and mugs on the wheel using clay coloured with mason stains.
Perry presents workshops to art classrooms, providing students with an in-depth hands on pottery experience, learning skills and creating memories that last a lifetime. Perry also donates pieces to pottery sale fundraisers that supports the ceramics program at Eastside Secondary School.
