Robert Martin

Voice teacher, tenor, Director of Music at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Belleville.
Tenor and voice teacher Robert Martin is a past member of the Canadian Opera Company Ensemble Studio. With the Canadian Opera Company, Robert sang a variety of roles. Robert has also sung with Toronto’s Opera in Concert and the Toronto Operetta Theatre. More recently, Robert sang the role of Siegfried in the Opera by Request productions of Wagner’s “Siegfried” and “Gotterdammerung”.
Robert has taught voice in Belleville for over twenty years. Many of his students have gone on to major in voice at University, Some have gone on to have careers as singers.
As director of music at St Thomas Anglican church, Belleville, Robert plays the organ, piano, directs the choir and is responsible for a producing a concert series.
