A Capella Quinte is a men’s chorus with around 30 members. Established nearly 50 years ago, they have a mission to bring men together in harmony and fellowship while enriching their lives through singing. They are a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society and were formerly known as the Trentones, a Trenton based group, before they expanded across the Quinte Region.
ACQ is a non-profit organization run on the power of volunteers. They use their concerts as a way to raise money for charities. They do an annual Christmas tour of retirement residences to bring cheer to the residents.
Non-members are encouraged to start seasonal rehearsals with ACQ in the fall. For more information please contact them at https://www.acappellaquinte.org/
To see ACQ in concert check out their upcoming benefit concert for Gleaners Food Bank on November 19th at 2:00 PM at Maranatha Church in Belleville. There is no fee for entry but a donation of an item or money to Gleaners Food Bank is encouraged.
