Student Photography Show
Student Photography Show featuring the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board’s student photography Quinte West contest participants and winners. Local students showcase the Bay of Quinte region through their own lens.
Bay of Quinte youth between the ages of 7 and 14 were invited to submit photos taken of people, places or things during the last year within the Bay of Quinte RMB’s partner communities. The purpose of the contest was to encourage artistic development, experimentation and expression among youth and to see how youth perceive the world around us, which is often a much different perspective than how we see things as adults.

“Yet another picture that was taken on the Trent river coast. I decided to capture this man left alone in a pensive state, as he stares out into nothing but a cloud of fog. This was a silent moment, the ones we all need once in a while. Simply a reminder to slow down every now and then, as living is only made more beautiful when we reflect on it.
