Tara Wilkinson is an award-winning Canadian fine art photographer and digital artist. From behind the lens, Tara captures the details hidden from most. Her soulful images take the viewer on a visual journey. |
Through her work, she explores themes of joy, spirituality, nature and human nature. Born in Toronto, ON, Tara has travelled extensively, photographing in over 25 countries … with another trip always in the works. Tara studied photography at Centennial College, Ryerson (now Metropolitain) University and Fleming College’s Haliburton School of the Arts, where she also graduated with a diploma in Expressive Arts. Tara also has a diploma in Corporate Communications from Centennial College in Toronto. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions. Tara’s solo exhibition “AMORE” was part of the CONTACT Photography Festival at the Joseph D. Carrier Gallery in Toronto. Tara’s art has been featured through social media, newspaper and magazines articles, radio & television interviews, and major billboards. Tara’s photographs are held in private collections around the world. Her framed photographic prints, books, posters and greeting cards are available through ANDARA Gallery in Prince Edward County, Ontario, CANADA. |
Members of the year-round Prince Edward County Arts Trail since 2009, Tara and her husband, encaustic painter Andrew Csafordi welcome thousands of art lovers, buyers and collectors to their galleries year-round. In 2015, Tara & Andrew were recognized by the Prince Edward County Arts Council with a Business Excellence Award for their contribution to the Arts in their community. In 2019, Tara and Andrew were thrilled to complete construction on their new contemporary art gallery – ANDARA Gallery – now open year-round, 11 AM to 5 PM daily.
