I have recently moved to Belleville from Toronto. As a former Guidance Counsellor I have now become re-engaged in my encaustic art. My works were displayed in several galleries, both in Muskoka and Toronto, and I have been pleased with the reception they have received. As a former oil painter in Muskoka, I moved to Toronto to teach and was introduced to Encaustic Art at the Halliburton School of the Arts and Toronto School of Art where I quickly fell in love with the medium. Now in Belleville and recently finished un-packing, I am eager to get back to the process of creating bold works of art inspired by my beautiful new surroundings.
