Make a Difference Through Arts & Culture
The Quinte Arts Council is seeking two new Board members to join our dedicated volunteer leadership team and help guide the future of arts and culture in our region.
We are particularly interested in individuals with:

Governance experience (board leadership, policy, strategy, or organizational oversight), and
-
Legal background or experience (law, compliance, risk management, or related expertise).
As a Board member, you’ll play an important role in supporting our mission, strengthening organizational sustainability, and ensuring thoughtful, accountable decision-making—all while championing the value of the arts in our community.
Time Commitment

Board meetings are held once per month

Meetings are hybrid (in-person and virtual options available)

Annual General Meeting in June

Holiday gathering in December

Accessibility statement: The Quinte Arts Council primary venue and office location, 36 Bridge St. East, is not yet fully accessible due to stairs and washroom (there are steps to enter into the building, although our backdoor can accommodate a wheelchair, our washroom is scheduled to be renovated into a fully accessible washroom pending funding).
