Canadian Contemporary Indigenous Artist

As a contemporary Indigenous artist, my work moves between two interconnected
worlds: the grounded wisdom of ancestral identity and the transformative power of
spiritual energy.
Both bodies of work arise from the same source, a deep commitment to healing,
balance, and the emotional truths carried through generations.
My Indigenous-rooted pieces honour tradition through symbolism, medicine wheel
colours, and storytelling that reflects resilience, memory, and cultural continuity. These
works are my connection to ancestry, a visual language shaped by lived experience,
community, and the teachings that anchor me.
Alongside this, my Energy Series explores transformation, movement, and the unseen
forces that shape the human spirit. Through expressive strokes, luminous colour, and
fluid, universal figures, I paint emotional states, rising, healing, awakening, becoming.
This series is an evolution of my Indigenous identity, expressed through contemporary
abstraction and intuitive motion.
Together, these two styles form a single narrative of who I am as an artist: grounded in
heritage, driven by creation, and guided by the transformative energy that moves
through all living things. My work is a bridge between past and future, a celebration of
identity, strength, and the power of colour to heal and connect.
