As a multi-disciplined artist and artisan, I desire to be a good steward of my God given gifts.
I don’t remember ever ‘not’ being an artist, I was always creating something, from paper mache to stage props. I grew up in Plainfield and currently reside just outside of Belleville.
As an Artist, I work mainly doing Pen & Ink stippling, pencil rendering, watercolour and acrylic painting, or a combination. My subject matter ranges from wildlife to abstract.
I have studied art, drafting, technical illustrating, woodworking and interior design, but I have many interest.
As an Artisan, I create hand sandblasted etching on glassware, mirrors, candle holder centrepieces and other home decor items. I am self-taught in this discipline, after much study and practice since 2009.
I participate in shows from Brampton, Toronto, Peterborough, Kingston as well as the local area.
Life is very busy between 4 grandkids, and two other businesses that my husband and I own, but my goal in this next season, is to dedicate more time and energy towards becoming a full-time artist.
