Kidan Singer is a grade 12 student in the French Immersion program at Bayside Secondary School. Kidan loves experimenting, finding creative compositions, and changing his point of view to get unexpected details. He has loved taking photos since elementary school, when he got his first camera at the age of 12. His favourite early photo is from his trip to Newfoundland, a composition where you can see the small details and water droplets on a sunflower. In the winter of 2021 Kidan bought his first DSLR camera, allowing him to learn and use even more photographic techniques. He’s taken photography courses at Bayside and Loyalist. Right now he’s enjoying photography while also studying chemistry, and viewing the world from the vantage of running.
