Susan was raised in Prince Edward County and obtained a Fine Arts degree from York University. She worked as a designer/illustrator in Toronto for 20 years and returned to her home area on the Rednersville Road in 1991 where she continues to paint and also draw political cartoons at her home studio.
Susan’s work is a mix of traditional realistic styles and her “loose landscapes” which are vibrant, semi-abstract pieces in acrylic. Her subjects include scenes from the County, Ontario cottage country, scenes from her travels in Europe and US. Susan has had shows in Gallery 121, Parrott Gallery, various PEC wineries, restaurants and is an active member of the Rednersville Road Art Tour. Works are mainly in oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolour.
