The Quinte Wood Carvers are a member group ranging from youth to retirees and with abilities ranging from beginner carvers all the way up to world class carvers! The Quinte Wood Carvers Association always welcomes new members. Whether you’re a devoted carver or just new to the art form you’re welcome at one of their carving sessions.
There is a carving program for everyone including new carvers on Thursday nights 6:30-9 pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Hall, 516 Victoria Ave, Belleville Ontario. You can also carve on Monday afternoons 1-4 pm. There are people available to assist and teach new carvers. The Quinte Wood Carvers recently had a show at the Quinte Wellness Centre where carvers competed with their intricately carved pieces competed for over $2000 in prizes!
