Quinte Ballet School of Canada
Quinte Ballet School of Canada, established in 1972, is committed to teach, promote and present the joy of dance at both the professional and recreational levels.
Quinte Ballet School’s staff are dedicated to creating an inspiring and supportive environment that nurtures talented young people towards a career in dance, along with providing a variety of dance classes on evenings and weekends for people of all ages who love to learn and to dance. Each summer youth from across Canada participate in dance training at our Summer Dance Intensive offered for 3 weeks in July with out of town students staying in Albert College residences. Our students perform in the annual Holiday Dance and year-end Spring Showcase (Assemble and Dance of Spring) and at special events in the community. Our Dancing with Parkinson’s program offers people diagnosed with Parkinson’s and mobility issues a creative movement class with live piano music. Quinte Ballet’s arts facility features 6 dance studios and a visual arts studio at 196 Palmer Road in Belleville.
